How to Convert Watts to BTU/h.

A watt is the SI unit of power, equivalent to one joule per second.

While BTU/h is also a unit of power and it stands for British Thermal Unit per hour. This means that energy measured is equal to 1 BTU per hour.

Formula to convert W to BTU/h.

To convert them, we need to know how they are related.

We are told that 1 W is equal to 3.41 BTU/h.

Therefore, to convert w to BTU/h, we multiply the W value by 3.41.

Example:

Convert 200 Watts to BTU/h.

= 200x 3.41

= 682 BTU/h.
