How to Convert Liters to Cubic Meters.

Liters are units of capacity and was formerly defined as the volume of one kilogram of water under standard conditions.

Cubic meters are also units of capacity or volume and are abbreviated as m³.

Formula to convert liters to cm³ .

The relationship between liters and cubic meters states that:

1 liter is equivalent to 0.001 m³ .

It can also be written as,

1000 liters = 1 m³

In conclusion, we say that to convert liters to m³ , we multiply the liters by 0.001 or just divide the liters by 1000.

Example:

Convert 20 liters to cubic meters.

= 20 x 0.001

= 0.02 m³ .
